Jürgen Richert
Vice President Information Technology
Jürgen has served as Vice President of Information Technology at Immatics since January 2025. In this role, he leads the IT department and ensures that Immatics remains at the forefront of digitalization.
Before joining Immatics, Jürgen was Vice President of Business IT Unit Product Supply, Quality and Scientific R&D at BioNTech SE. He contributed to the company's growth by implementing application systems for global functions, manufacturing and R&D sites and building the SAP Center of Expertise with his team.
Prior to BioNTech, Jürgen held various leadership roles at Boehringer Ingelheim, where he led efforts to standardize processes and IT systems. His initiatives included deploying these solutions to Boehringer’s facilities worldwide and leading the development of the global SAP template.
Jürgen began his career at J&M Management Consulting AG (now part of EY), where he led supply chain management and IT projects. Jürgen Richert holds a Diploma in Computer Science from Furtwangen University, Germany.
