Overview
We are currently seeking a Scientist Translational Research and Biomarkers* to support our team in the development of innovative immunotherapeutic products. You will work in a full-time and permanent position on-site Tübingen (Germany) in an interdisciplinary environment with colleagues from all research as well as business development and intellectual property departments. 
Your mission
Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following tasks:
 
  • Planning, supervision, documentation and reporting of clinical Immunomonitoring data using a wide range of standardized cellular, non-cellular and molecular techniques
  • Method development in the context of translational research and clinical Immunomonitoring
  • Professional supervision of lab personnel being responsible for assay conduction  
  • Development and management of assigned projects including communication with external vendors and the internal project team
  • Contribution to preparing clinical trial associated documents with a focus on immunological and Immunomonitoring associated aspects (e.g., Clinical Study Protocol, Clinical Study Report, Statistical Analysis Plan etc.)
  • Support of Quality Management including writing and reviewing of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Contribution to preparing regulatory documents
  • Optional: Establishment of GCLP-relevant processes
Your profile
You hold a PhD degree in life sciences and have a proven track record and hands-on technical experience in experimental immunology as well as cellular biology. In addition, you have in-depth understanding of cell biology and immunology, ideally in the field of cancer cell therapy. Experience with standardized cell-based functional assays and multicolor flow cytometry as well as comprehensive knowledge in cytometry analysis of complex data sets is highly beneficial. Expertise in pharmacokinetic studies using quantitative PCR and immunogenicity testing is regarded as advantageous. Professional experience in a GxP environment, specifically in the implementation of GCLP-relevant processes, is a plus. 
 
We expect a high degree of independent working and analytical reasoning. You have excellent communication skills, both in English and German. You are conversant with quality management systems, and you take careful editing and documenting of your results for granted. You embrace rapidly changing requirements with an open mind, think outside the box and show a high degree of flexibility. Your motivation is driven by your dedication to innovation and science. You approach tasks in a structured, reliable and foresighted manner, combined with an elevated level of individual responsibility, enthusiasm and strong social skills.
