We are currently seeking full-time a
(Senior) Project Manager
to strengthen our Translational Development and Project Management team in the research and development of innovative immunotherapeutic products. You will work in Tübingen or Munich (Germany) in an interdisciplinary environment with colleagues from R&D as well as various other departments across the Company. Your analytical reasoning and action-oriented style as well as your organization and communication skills will contribute to the team’s success.

Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following tasks:
- Scientific project management: With your experience in project management, organizational skills, and scientific knowledge you will lead interdisciplinary research and development teams to successfully achieve the project goals on time and on budget. You will coordinate the cooperation of all departments involved – in Germany as well as in the US – and you will provide the interface with international, external partners in research collaborations.
- Translational Science: With your scientific capabilities you will contribute to optimize the development of early research programs and their transition into clinical development. You will independently research a wide range of topics based on scientific literature and support the preparation of clinical and regulatory study documents.
Your Profile
You have successfully completed your doctorate in the field of life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, or a comparable education and have proven your ability to organize complex projects using established project management approaches and tools. Ideally, you have already some industry experience and gained insights into the preclinical and/ or clinical drug development, preferably of biologics. Experience in immunology, oncology and/ or cell and gene therapy are an advantage. Your project management and scientific skills and your excellent communication skills will enable you to successfully manage interdisciplinary projects and to advance collaborations with international partners from the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
You see your personal challenge in managing cross-functional projects and teams to facilitate the translation of scientific findings into clinical applications that matter for patients. Based on your scientific expertise and background, you are eager to address R&D tasks with the experts, to develop concepts, to present them convincingly and to realize them with interdisciplinary teams.
For your day-to-day activities, we expect a high degree of independent work, analytical thinking, and communication skills. Careful preparation and documentation of your results, also in very good English, are perfectly natural for you. You are open to dynamically developing requirements and demonstrate a high degree of flexibility. You enjoy working in an environment where excellence is a constant requirement.
