Dawn Buchanan joined Immatics in April 2026 and is responsible for clinical trial leadership and strategy within Clinical Operations. She brings extensive expertise in oncology development with a strong focus on autologous cell therapy.
Dawn brings more than 30 years of clinical operations experience, including 10 years in autologous cell therapy. Her career spans the global biopharma industry, including large pharmaceutical companies, CROs and emerging biotech organizations such as Hoffmann-La Roche, Celgene/BMS and AffyImmune Therapeutics. During her time at Celgene, she developed a passion for cell therapies and held roles in both Clinical Operations and Cell Therapy External Manufacturing. The cell therapy manufacturing experience enhanced her broad knowledge and understanding of the complexities of cell therapy in Clinical Operations.
Dawn Buchanan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Marketing from Skidmore College in New York.
