We are currently seeking full- time a
Senior Financial Controller
to support our Finance team.

You will work in Tübingen (Germany) in an interdisciplinary environment with colleagues from Tübingen, Munich and Houston (USA). Your analytical reasoning and action-oriented style as well as your organization and communication skills will contribute to the team’s success. This is a permanent position.
Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following tasks:
- Process budgeting and forecasting
- Measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and prior year historical information
- Take on responsibility for internal reporting
- Develop sustainable internal reporting tools and maintaining existing reports and databases
- Understand budgeting, planning and operational data to develop standard and ad-hoc reports
You hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related discipline, an MBA or master’s degree is a plus. Ideally, you have worked 2-5 years as a Business or Financial Controller and have proven your excellent quantitative and analytical skills for creating insightful and actionable (ad-hoc) reporting and analysis. You are able to go beyond the numbers, determine the root cause of variances and consider the broad business implications. You have advanced Excel skills including financial modeling and experience with MS Dynamics or similar ERP and are familiar with MS Word/ PowerPoint. Your competence and experience and your excellent communication skills enable you to successfully contribute to foster effective working relationships.
