Research Analyst

For the earliest possible date, we are seeking a

Research Analyst

to strengthen our Business Planning and Capital Markets unit.

You will work in Tübingen (Germany) in an interdisciplinary environment with colleagues from all research departments as well as the Finance department. Your analytical acumen and your organizational skills will contribute to the success of the whole team.

 

Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following tasks:

  • Scientific project management including Analyst Communication: You will support our management team in the communication of research & development activities to the financial analyst & investor community. You will coordinate the input and communication flow of all departments involved – also across locations. You will also interact with external partners such as financial analysts and investors and support the facilitation of R&D and analyst days as well as regular update calls.
  • Coordination of documentation for Management and Supervisory Board: With your scientific knowledge and organizational expertise, you will coordinate the relevant information for management, supervisory board and related committees. Additionally, you will support the setup of official filing documents and reports.
  • Strategic planning & risk management: Your organizational skills and scientific background will help the setup and implementation of a company-wide strategic planning and risk management process. You will be involved in the development of a strategic planning process as well as in the composition of a comprehensive register of business risks and opportunities.

Your Profile

You have successfully completed your doctorate in the field of life sciences, medicine, pharmacy or a comparable education and have proven your scientific excellence and your ability to organize complex projects. Ideally, you collected experience in risk management or analyst interactions and have a basic understanding of business administration. Knowledge of immunology and/ or oncology is an advantage. Your scientific skills, your experience and your excellent communication skills will enable you to successfully participate in interdisciplinary projects as part of a team.

You are interested in coordinating cross functional teams. You see your personal challenge in dealing intensively with financial and research data, risks and challenges to support the development of a comprehensive risk management plan. You include publications into your analysis as needed to address scientific questions, to develop solution concepts, to present them convincingly and to then implement them in concrete steps. You enjoy creating appealing presentations and documents.

We expect a high degree of independent working, analytical reasoning and excellent communication skills in English. You embrace rapidly changing requirements with an open mind, think outside the box and show a high degree of flexibility in an environment which is marked by a constant striving for excellence.
