Your résumé is usually sufficient. If you would like to introduce yourself in more detail, you are welcome to include a cover letter. If we require specific documents, we will indicate this in the job advertisement. At the latest, before we make you an offer, we will ask you for additional documents, such as your degree certificates and a copy of your work permit (if applicable).

Yes, you can apply for multiple positions at a time. However, we recommend that you carefully choose positions that align closely with your skills and qualifications. If you would like to apply for another position, you can log in to your Candidate Home to find an overview of open positions.

: If we do not have an open position published as an “unsolicited application,” we unfortunately cannot accept general applications. We therefore encourage you to apply for a specific open position that matches your qualifications and interests.

Our recruiting process usually consists of up to three interview rounds. In the first interview, you will meet the recruiter and, depending on the position, the hiring manager. In the following rounds, you will have the opportunity to meet future colleagues and gain deeper insights into the role and team dynamics. Whether the interviews take place virtually or partly on-site depends on the position.

Beyond your professional qualifications, we are interested in getting to know you as a person and understanding how you would fit into Immatics’ culture. During the interviews, we may ask you to describe how you have handled specific situations in the past and what the outcome was.
If there are any specific requirements for an interview, such as preparing a presentation, we will always inform you in advance.

We also encourage you to prepare questions for us — the interviews are a two-way exchange to help both sides determine whether we are a good match.

In accordance with GDPR, your personal data, application documents and Candidate Home account will be deleted six months after the position you applied for has been filled. If you prefer to have your data removed sooner, you can submit a request via your Candidate Home or contact us directly at RecruitingGER@immatics.com.
