Treasurer*

Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Treasurer* to support our Finance team. You will work in a global team, that is very much looking forward to your support and working together. The team is based in Tübingen, regular remote work (Germany) is possible. This is a permanent position.
In our international environment you can expect not only enthusiastic colleagues from a wide range of disciplines, but also very diverse tasks. For your onboarding we’ll develop a plan tailored to your needs, and discuss it with you on a regular basis in order to know mutual wishes and expectations.
Your mission
Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following tasks:
 
  • Develop the Company’s investment/ asset management strategy and policy with the governing bodies
  • Execute all deals in relation with the investment/ asset management strategy
  • Develop an investment reporting and performance measurement tool
  • Set up an operational guideline for the foreign exchange management
  • Execute all deals in relation with currency conversions
  • Further develop the group-wide liquidity planning
  • Develop a counterparty risk management strategy and implement corresponding limits
  • Maintain and enhance the relationship to banks (negotiate bank conditions and contracts)
  • Develop and implement treasury guidelines and policies in accordance with SOX
  • Develop and enhance treasury reporting to internal stakeholders (Executive Management and Audit Committee) and external stakeholders (banks, auditors)
  • Cooperate with and support Accounting, Controlling and other departments with respect to treasury topics
  • Lead the implementation of a TMS in co-operation with external consultants
  • Continuously enhance all treasury processes
Your profile
  • Master’s degree in Finance or equivalent with 3-5 years of experience in a similar role (international corporate, banking or consulting) 
  • Profound knowledge in capital markets and corporate finance as well as a strong analytical and conceptual way of thinking and working
  • Readiness to use common market information systems (e.g., Refinitiv, Bloomberg), trading platforms (e.g., 360t, FXAll) and treasury management systems
  • Basic knowledge in local (HGB) and international (IFRS, US GAAP) GAAP
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
  • IT affinity (key user for treasury tools)
  • Strong communication skills and a good team player
