(Senior) Specialist* – Clinical Patient Supply Chain

Overview
We are currently seeking a (Senior) Specialist* - Clinical Patient Supply Chain to strengthen our Global Patient Supply department. You will work in Tübingen, Munich or remote (Germany) in an interdisciplinary environment with colleagues from Germany and the US (Houston, TX). 
Your mission
Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following tasks:
 
  • End-to-end supply chain operations. 
  • Inventory Management and oversight of material stocks, coordination of shipments from external storage through an IRT system.
  • Responsibility and accountability for utilizing key tools in the planning and managing of clinical supplies for assigned studies. 
  • Responsibility for clinical supply documentation supporting labeling and packaging activities as well as clinical supply shipment documentation.
  • Participation as a key stakeholder in Clinical Trial Teams meetings and close collaboration with other functional area representatives to negotiate timelines and strategy for clinical supplies. 
  • Management of clinical vendors and logistics providers.
  • Ensure compliance with cGxP guidelines and oversee temperature management of Investigational and Auxiliary Products (shipments, depot and site storage).
Your profile
You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology or another relevant area. Ideally, you have gained insights into clinical trial logistics of phase I-IV trials. Knowledge in the immunotherapeutic field is an advantage. Your competence and experience enable you to successfully contribute to building an efficient supply chain. You are interested in process optimization and have an eye for detail. 
 
We expect a high degree of independent working, analytical reasoning and excellent communication skills in English (German would be beneficial). You embrace rapidly changing requirements with an open mind, think outside the box and show a high degree of flexibility in an environment which is marked by a constant striving for excellence. Your motivation is driven by curiosity and a passion for growth. You approach tasks in a structured, reliable and foresighted manner, combined with an elevated level of individual responsibility, enthusiasm and strong social skills.
