Overview
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Scientist to join our TCR Engineering team at Immatics Biotechnologies in Tübingen. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on innovative drug development projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment that spans from early discovery, engineering and validation to manufacturing.
As a member of the department TCR Engineering and Bispecifics, your primary focus will be on creating and optimizing TCRs for recognition of Immatics' verified tumor targets as central building blocks for our T Cell Engaging Receptor (TCER®) bispecifics.
Your mission
In your role, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Setup or improvements of technologies for protein engineering
- Designing and creating DNA/ RNA libraries for different protein display methods
- High-throughput and multi-parameter analyses and selections
- Scientific interaction with internal and external project management and development partners
- Providing leadership and management of lab operations and staff in a professional manner
Your profile
You hold a PhD degree in Life Sciences and have a proven track record and hands-on experience in molecular cloning and protein engineering. Ideally, you are experienced in the design and wet-lab generation of large degenerate libraries and associated selection processes via protein display technologies (phage, yeast or other). You are able to lead a lab team with passion and have the desire to evolve in a laboratory-focused role.
