We are currently seeking a Project Manager* to strengthen our Project Management and Translational Development (PMTD) department in the research and development of innovative immunotherapeutic products. You will work in Tübingen or Munich (Germany) in an interdisciplinary environment with colleagues from R&D as well as various other departments across the Company.
The PMTD department oversees preclinical and clinical projects from our own drug development pipeline and collaboration programs with biotech and pharma partners. As a Project Manager* you will be responsible for one of these development projects. Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following tasks:
- Managing interdisciplinary R&D teams to successfully achieve the project goals on time and on budget
- Coordinate the cooperation of all departments involved – in Germany as well as in the US
- Provide the interface to national and international external partners in research collaborations
- Address research and development tasks with the experts, develop and present convincing concepts and solutions
You have successfully completed your doctorate in the field of life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, or a comparable education. You have already proven your ability to organize complex scientific projects using established project management approaches and tools or you gained insights into preclinical or clinical drug development projects in a biotech or pharma environment. Experience in immunology, oncology or cell and gene therapy is an advantage.
Your scientific mindset and your excellent organizational and communication skills enable you to successfully cope with your tasks. Careful preparation and documentation of your work, also in very good English, is perfectly natural for you. You are open to dynamically developing requirements and demonstrate a high degree of flexibility. You enjoy working in an environment where excellence is a constant requirement.
