Computerized System Validation Quality Manager

Permanent employee, Full-time · Houston (TX)

We are currently seeking a full-time capacity QM Manager with computerized system validation (CSV) quality focus to support our global Quality Management team. Your analytical reasoning and action-oriented style as well as your organization and communication skills will contribute to the team’s success. This is a permanent position based in Houston or remotely in the US.
Your mission
Essential functions:
  • Perform QA review and approval of qualification and validation documentation for equipment and computerized systems
  • Support the implementation and improvement of Immatics’ global QM system across different business areas 
  • Contribute to an electronic quality management system implementation
  • Create, review and approve GxP relevant documents, including e.g. SOPs and working instructions
  • Provide support to GxP functions regarding vendor qualification, risk assessment, change controls, deviations, and CAPAs. 
  • Quality software supplier or vendors of computerized systems
  • Plan, prepare and conduct internal and external audits 
  • Support IT with infrastructure qualification 
Secondary functions:
  • Deliver trainings as required
  • Support Immatics in case of GxP regulatory inspection in regard to validation processes
  • Maintain equipment and computerized system inventories
  • Strong expertise in the validation of computerized systems in the pharmaceutical or medical devices industry from an operational point of view from an operational or QA point of view
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant US/EU regulations and regulatory Good Practice standards, e.g., GCP/GMP 
  • Significant hands-on experience in CSV and data integrity in highly regulated environments 
  • Experiences in working at a global level in a highly matrixed environment 
  • Ability to work in a structured, reliable, and foresighted manner 
  • Creativity and ability to adapt to changing conditions
  • Excellent interdisciplinary and intercultural communication skills
Work environment:
This position works in a typical office environment with moderate noise levels and uses phone, computer, office equipment and supplies on a regular basis. Other duties performed while outside of the office building could involve exposure to manufacturing operations, along with outdoor conditions and temperatures.

Your profile
Required education and experience
  •  Bachelor’s degree in natural science, quality management or related field 
  •  3+ years of experience in working or consulting for life sciences companies in Quality Management and/or Quality Assurance. 
  •  Versed in GMP and GCP regulatory requirements and have experience in Computer System Validation and Data Integrity in GxP environments
Preferred education and experience
  • Hands on experience in auditing is an asset  
  •  Experience working at a global level in a highly matrixed environment 
  •  Excellent interdisciplinary and intercultural communication skills in English are desirable, German is a plus.
