We are currently seeking an experienced Project Lead* for one of our clinical-stage TCER® bispecific programs to strengthen our research and development of innovative immunotherapeutic product candidates. You will work in Tübingen, Munich or Germany home-based in an interdisciplinary and international environment with colleagues from non-clinial and clinical R&D as well as various other departments across the Company.
As a Project Lead you will be responsible for development project(s) of high impact and visibility to Immatics’ leadership team and be accountable for meeting the project goals and milestones. You will work closely with the Bispecifics Development Lead and involved Department Heads to steer the project(s) towards success. As Project Lead you will mentor the respective Project Managers and support them in successfully managing their project team. Your joined responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following tasks:
- Oversee the interdisciplinary research and development team to successfully achieve the project objectives
- Anticipate risks, issues and upcoming decision points and manage them proactively and strategically to ensure the success of the project
- Get to cross-functional decisions in cooperation with the project team, Project Manager and involved departments
- Be accountable for the project progress towards Senior Management and Development Lead
You have successfully completed your doctorate in the field of life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, or a comparable education. You have significant experience in drug development (7+ years) and early stage clinical development. You feel at home in the immuno-oncology field, insights into the specifics of biologics (ideally bispecific molecules) are an advantage. You have a strong science driven analytical thinking, and the desire and capabilities to lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a matrix structure.
Your excellent organizational and communication skills and your insights into clinical drug development enable you to successfully cope with your tasks. Implementing strategic aspects and overall business needs into your daily work is perfectly natural to you. You are open to dynamically developing requirements and demonstrate a high degree of flexibility. You enjoy working in an environment where excellence is a constant requirement.
