We are currently seeking a
(Senior) Scientist Immunology (f/m)
to support our team in the development of innovative immunotherapeutic products.
You will work in Tuebingen in an interdisciplinary environment with scientists from all R&D departments, business development and intellectual property. Your analytical reasoning and action-oriented style as well as your organizational skills will contribute to the team’s success.
Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following tasks:
- Discovery and preclinical assessment of novel cancer immunotherapeutics including participation in the set-up of new methods
- Planning, supervision and reporting of in-house in vitro studies for preclinical assessments of novel cancer immunotherapeutics including professional leadership and management of lab personnel
- Project management for allocated areas associated with current collaborations
- Quality management support including writing and reviewing of standard operating procedures
- Contribute to the filing of regulatory documents and patents
You hold a PhD degree in life sciences, relevant industry or postdoctoral experience is preferable. You have a proven track record and hands-on experience in experimental immunology and molecular biology. In addition, you have in-depth understanding of cell biology and immunology, ideally in the context of cancer therapy. Further experience in cell-based cytotoxicity assays, multicolor flow cytometry or multiplex cytokine analysis is mandatory. You are able to lead a small lab team and have a desire to continue in a laboratory-focused role.
We expect a high degree of independent working and analytical reasoning. You have excellent communication skills, both in English and German, and you are familiar with the requirements of commercial business and interaction with external partners. You are conversant with the establishment of quality assurance systems and you take careful editing and documenting of your results for granted. You embrace rapidly changing requirements with an open mind and show a high degree of flexibility in an environment which is marked by a constant striving for excellence.
