Scientist Translational Development (f/m/d)
to strengthen our team in the research and development of innovative immunotherapeutic products.
At our Tübingen headquarter you will work in an interdisciplinary environment with colleagues from research and preclinical/ clinical development. Your analytical thinking and structured acting as well as your organizational skills will contribute to the success of the team.
You can expect a varied range of tasks including the following:
- Translational Science: You will contribute to the transition from research projects to early clinical development. The analysis of scientific data from immunotherapy trials will be one focus of your work. In addition, you will independently research a wide range of topics based on scientific literature and support the preparation of clinical and regulatory study documents.
- Scientific project management: With your scientific knowledge and organizational skills, you will support the management and implementation of research and development projects. You will coordinate the cooperation of all departments involved – across all Immatics sites – and the interface with external partners in research collaborations.
You have successfully completed your doctorate in the field of Life Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy or a comparable education and have proven your scientific excellence and your ability to organize complex projects. Ideally, you have a strong background in statistical analysis of large dataset from research or clinical studies and gained insights into the preclinical development of immunotherapies including preclinical pharmacological and toxicological studies. Knowledge of protein biochemistry, immunology and/ or oncology and experience with databases (e.g. MySQL) are an advantage.
Your scientific skills and your excellent communication skills will enable you to successfully contribute to research projects as a team member and to advance collaborations with international partners from the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. You are interested in translating scientific findings into clinical applications and in dealing intensively with scientific data. You see your personal challenge in the development of solution concepts and you are able to present them convincingly and to realize them in interdisciplinary teams.
We expect a high degree of independent working, analytical reasoning and excellent communication skills in English. Careful preparation and documentation of your results, also in very good English, is perfectly natural for you.
