We are currently seeking a
Scientist Immunology for TCR Engineering and Bispecifics (f/m/d)
to support our team in the development of innovative immunotherapeutic products.
You will work in Tuebingen (Germany) in an interdisciplinary environment with colleagues from all Research as well as Business Development and Intellectual Property departments. Your analytical reasoning, creative problem-solving and action-oriented style as well as your organizational skills will contribute to the team’s success.
As part of the TCR Engineering and Bispecifics team you will focus on the design and generation of novel binders to Immatics’ validated tumor targets. These affinity-optimized and specific binders are the centerpiece of our highly potent bispecific T-cell engaging receptor (TCER®) therapeutics.
Your main responsibilities on our journey to a clinically relevant immunotherapeutic products will include, but are not limited to the following tasks:
- Design and generation of DNA libraries for yeast surface display
- High-throughput and multi-parameter flow cytometric analyses and sorting
- Scientific interaction with internal and external project management and development partners
- Professional leadership and management of lab operations and staff
- Development and advancement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and support of Quality Management
You hold a PhD degree in Life Sciences and have a proven track record and hands-on experience in molecular cloning and protein engineering. Ideally, you are well versed in the design and wet-lab generation of large degenerate libraries and the selection process via protein display technologies (phage, yeast or other). You are able to lead a lab team with passion and have the desire to evolve in a laboratory-focused role.
We expect a high degree of independent working and analytical reasoning. You take careful editing and documenting of your results for granted. You have excellent communication skills, both in English and German. You embrace rapidly changing requirements with an open mind and show a high degree of flexibility in an environment which is marked by a constant striving for excellence.
