We are currently seeking a
Research Technician Discovery (f/m/d)
to support our team in the research and development of innovative immunotherapeutic products.
You will work in Tuebingen (Germany) in an interdisciplinary environment with colleagues from all research departments. Your action-oriented style as well as your expertise and commitment will contribute to the team’s success. The position is initially limited to two years.
The work in our Discovery lab comprises a broad spectrum of methods including but not limited to:
- Cell culture
- Molecular biology (e.g. RNA isolation, DNA isolation, HLA typing)
- Processing of patient material
- Maintenance of lab equipment as well as the compilation of SOPs and working instructions
You completed a vocational training as biological, medical or chemical technical assistant (BTA, MTA, CTA), hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Science or have been comparably educated. Expertise in above listed methods, in particular in in situ hybridization, immunohistochemistry, and/ or cultivation of human cell lines is an advantage. Ideally you have experience in molecular biological methods.
You show a high degree of independent working and approach tasks in a structured, reliable and foresighted manner. Furthermore, you convince us by your elevated level of individual responsibility, enthusiasm and strong social skills, and you take thorough documentation of your work and results for granted.
You bring along an open mind, analytical reasoning, a high degree of flexibility and the ability to communicate in English. Well-versed handling of common computer applications (MS office) is mandatory.
