We are currently seeking an
Associate Director TCR Discovery and Validation (f/m/d)
to support our team in the development of innovative immunotherapeutic products.
You will work in Tuebingen in an interdisciplinary environment with scientists from all R&D departments, Business Development and Intellectual Property. Your analytical reasoning and action-oriented style as well as your organizational skills will contribute to the team’s success.
Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following tasks:
- Discovery and preclinical assessment of novel cancer-specific TCRs
- Method development in the context of TCR discovery and TCR safety profiling
- Planning, supervision and reporting of in vitro studies using a wide range of standardized cellular and molecular techniques
- Professional leadership and management of lab personnel
- Project management for responsible tasks
- Support of Quality Management including writing and reviewing of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Contribution to the filing of regulatory documents
You hold a PhD degree in life sciences and have relevant industry or postdoctoral experience. You have a proven track record and hands-on experience in experimental immunology and molecular biology. In addition, you have in-depth understanding of cell biology and immunology, ideally in the context of cancer therapy. Experience with cell-based functional assays and multicolor flow cytometry is mandatory. You are able to lead lab personnel and have a desire to continue in a laboratory-associated role.
We expect a high degree of independent working and analytical reasoning. You have excellent communication skills, both in English and German, and you are familiar with the requirements of commercial business and interaction with external partners. You are conversant with the establishment of quality assurance systems and you take careful editing and documenting of your results for granted. You embrace rapidly changing requirements with an open mind and show a high degree of flexibility in an environment which is marked by a constant striving for excellence.
